About

WHAT'S IT LIKE TO WORK WITH ME?

I am a relational counselor, addressing issues through the examination of one's closest relationships, including relationship to self. My belief is that no matter your experiences, symptoms, diagnosis, or traumas, you have the ability to grow, heal, and change. I tend to be more directive in style, helping to provide a gentle push out of those sticky places, empowering you to move forward. Using attachment science, I’ll help you find emotional balance and develop the tools to build authentic connections—with yourself and others. It’s easy to feel stuck in old patterns, but you don’t have to stay there. Together, we’ll create meaningful shifts that guide you out of dysfunction and toward a stronger, more confident sense of self. TRAINING I am trained in Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT Level 1 certified), EMDR, and use an attachment-and-trauma-informed approach to guide healing and bring about moments of breakthrough. For couples work, I am trained in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and the Gottman Method of Couples Therapy (Level 1). EXPERIENCE AND PASSION I specialize in cases of religious trauma, anxiety, depression, sexual issues, health challenges (i.e., autoimmune issues), and life transitions (i.e., divorce, postpartum) through an attachment-based lens. I have experience working with couples in crisis, navigating infidelity, and the complexities of divorce. I understand how deeply challenging it can be when our most important relationships are struggling, and I provide compassionate support to help you navigate these difficult moments with clarity and resilience. A word about religion... I recognize the profound impact of being raised in a particular faith, religion, or spiritual practice. When those beliefs no longer align with you—or when they’ve caused pain—it can feel overwhelming and isolating. Whether you're processing religious trauma, navigating change, or simply seeking clarity, you don’t have to do it alone. I offer a compassionate, judgment-free space where you can explore your experiences and find healing on your own terms. INSURANCE Please note that I am out of network with insurance companies. As a result, I have more flexibility in treatment planning because I am not limited by the length of treatment or diagnosis that an insurance company may require of me. I require payment at each session. Some insurance plans may offer reimbursement for therapy and I can provide you with a monthly superbill to submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement.
