WHAT'S IT LIKE TO WORK WITH ME?
My belief is that no matter your experiences, symptoms, diagnosis, or traumas, you have the ability to grow as an individual or couple. I will work with you to find empowerment for growth. We can take things that are frightening and make them tolerable, maybe even normal. Using attachment science, I can help you find both emotional balance and the tools necessary for creating genuine connection with yourself and others. People get stuck in dysfunction, and together, we can create change events that lead you out of that stuckness and to a strong, competent sense of self.
TRAINING
I am trained in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, the Gottman Method of Couples Therapy (Level 1), Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT Level 1 certified), EMDR, and use an attachment-and-trauma-informed approach to guide healing and bring about moments of breakthrough.
EXPERIENCE AND PASSION
I specialize in cases of religious trauma, anxiety, depression, sexual issues, health challenges (i.e., autoimmune issues), and life transitions (i.e., divorce, postpartum) through an attachment-based lens.
DO I TAKE INSURANCE?
Please note that I am out of network with insurance companies. As a result, I have more flexibility in treatment planning because I am not limited by the length of treatment or diagnosis that an insurance company may require of me. I require payment at each session. Some insurance plans may offer reimbursement for therapy and I can provide you with a monthly superbill to submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement.
